EVERYMATRIX ENTERS GAME DEVELOPMENT VERTICAL WITH LAUNCH OF SPEARHEAD STUDIOS

EveryMatrix has launched Spearhead Studios, marking its entry into the gaming development vertical.

Led by iGaming veteran Mathias Larsson, former Managing Director at GiG Games, the new studio boasts an existing, experienced and talented team recently acquired from Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), and is based in Marbella, Spain.

Larsson has more than eleven years of management experience within the iGaming industry, having founded XIN Gaming and working for several established names including Ezugi and HoGaming, in addition to GiG.

The studio has in-house capabilities for game concept design, JavaScript game development, digital artist production, animation, UI/X design, audio production, gameplay testing/QA, certification and localisation.

Discussing the launch EveryMatrix Group Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder, Ebbe Groes, said:

“EveryMatrix is an established B2B brand and entering the game development sector was something which we wanted to do for some time now. Having a creative gaming studio led by a brilliant executive such as Mathias Larsson sets EveryMatrix apart in this competitive industry and we are confident that this combo is going to serve our clients and partners very well.

“The background for this acquisition is the tremendous success of our CasinoEngine product, which has strong synergies to Spearhead. However, we will keep the studio activity highly independent, winning market share on its own merits while staying true to our principles of full transparency and maximum coverage in CasinoEngine!”

While Managing Director of Spearhead Studios, Mathias Larsson, added:

“I’m very excited to play a part in the launch of Spearhead Studios and continue the work we’ve already started. We have a very talented and highly skilled team which will prove successful in the years to come. Being part of such a thriving company as EveryMatrix will strengthen our offering to the market and will help Spearhead reach a bigger audience.”

The team now at Spearhead were responsible for creating games like Book of Souls, which saw over twenty million game rounds in the first ten months post-launch. The team now plans to finish multiple video slots projects and also aims to release table games including blackjack and roulette.
