The Roland-Garros eSeries by BNP Paribas tournament for Tennis World Tour on Playstation 4 is returning for a third year.

Presented by the Roland-Garros (French Open) tennis tournament, bank BNP Paribas, the French Tennis Federation, and gaming peripheral maker NACON, this year’s edition will also see Team Vitality join as a partner.

The ground-breaking partnership with Team Vitality marks the first time at an international eTennis competition that the qualifiers will be mentored by pro gamers, with Lyloun, Robi, Brawks and Airwaks supporting amateur gamers, under the supervision of Team Vitality owner and chairman Fabien “Neo” Devide.

Qualifying events will be held at the upcoming Masters 1000 Indian Wells, Masters 1000 Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome, and the Open Parc Auvergne Rhône-Alpes through May. Grand finals will be held at the French Open at Rolland-Garros on 6^th June, with the winner receiving a trophy and tickets to the French Open men’s singles final.

Discussing the news, Deputy CEO of the French Tennis Federation’s Marketing and Business Development Department, Stéphane Morel, said:

We see this new approach as essential in reaching out to gamer communities and bringing different generations of sports and esports enthusiasts together through the love they share for tennis.”

Norman “Genius” Chatrier, grandson of Philippe Chatrier and former esport player, will be the ambassador of the tournament.
