Brazilian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive organisation FURIA has teamed up with Swiss blockchain-based mobile app solution Blocksport to improve fan engagement.
The partnership will see FURIA become the first South American esports organisation to launch its own app through Blocksport, which will provide its mobile solution on a white-label basis.
Similarly to other blockchain-based fan engagement platforms, like Socios.com from Malta-based Chiliz, Blocksport drives fan engagement by enabling fans to securely vote, with eligibility managed by loyalty level, and delivering rewards and benefits for defined behaviours.
Discussing the news Co-founder and CEO of Blocksport, Vladimir Liulka, said:
“We are delighted to have signed with Furia, one of the most innovative and forward-thinking esports organizations in the world. Welcome on board, Furia!”
While Founder and CEO of FURIA, Jaime Pádua, added:
“Furia is 100% excited to be a partner with Blocksport. We believe it will be a long and reliable partnership. Our fans will engage even more with Furia!”
FURIA is the third esports organisation to partner with Blocksport, alongside Denmark-based Team Singularity and Germany-based BIG.
The Blocksport platform features modules for news, game data, fan messenger, fan voting, member management, live streaming, prediction game, betting, loyalty program, fan shop, ticketing, shopping world, fan missions, merchandise, digital identity, digital wallet, fan ranking, cashbacks, social media wall, and digital collectibles.
