German esports organisation SK Gaming has partnered with US-based multinational semiconductor company AMD. 

Under the agreement, SK Gaming’s players, staff, and facilities in Berlin and Cologne, will be equipped with AMD products. The partnership will also cover content on SK Gaming’s social media accounts.

Announcing the partnership, SK Gaming said:

“Going forward, AMD is once again going to ensure that the SK players have computers which deliver the performance edge needed to win, as well as stream at the highest quality no matter the game in question. Besides that, fans can look forward to even more exciting news coming out of the partnership in the coming months.”

SK Gaming and AMD have a long history, with the American firm originally partnering with the German organisation way back in 2008, as its main sponsor. AMD will be joining OnePlus, Mercedes-Benz, and Deutsche Telekom as sponsors of SK Gaming. 

AMD’s esports sponsorship portfolio also includes UK-based Fnatic and US-based Evil Geniuses.

Staying with SK Gaming, in April the organisation extended its partnership with audio solutions company EPOS, for a third year.
