Jason Killingsworth, creative director at Riot Games since 2014, is leaving the company to build his own publishing company. 

In a LinkedIn post, Killingsworth confirmed he is leaving Riot Games to concentrate on his Dublin-based publishing venture Tune & Fairweather. 

Reflecting on his time with Riot, Killingsworth said:

“After 6 amazing years at Riot Games, I am leaving to put a new dent in the universe by building my own publishing company Tune & Fairweather. I could not be more grateful for all the investment Riot made in my personal and career development. 

“I entered the job as a writer and depart as a creative director. I had attentive, world-class mentors – Kieran Weir, Tom Bramwell, Ben Noskeau, John Battle – who challenged and cheered in equal measure.”

Tune & Fairweather completed a Kickstarter campaign in 2019, funding the production of a hardcover edition of a Dark Souls companion book, You Died – co-written by Killingsworth and Keza MacDonald. 

Before he joined Riot Games, Killingsworth held editorial roles at Future Publishing’s Official PlayStation Magazine and Edge, and was deputy editor at Decatur-based music, film and lifestyle magazine Paste.
