PUBG CORP EYES LATAM EXPANSION, HIRES REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPER
PUBG Corp has appointed Guilherme Barbosa to the newly created role of regional business developer for Latin America.
Barbosa, who was formerly head of Brazilian esports development companies BBL and nøline, will be focusing on attracting new brands and partners for PUBG Corp in the Latin American region.
At nøline, he specialised in the Brazilian EA SPORTS FIFA 20 scene, and notably produced the world’s very first drive-in esports event in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before entering esports, Barbosa was involved with financial markets, and has also worked for both Universal Music and Deloitte.
AYO.NEWS says:
Latin America is one of the most exciting regions for esports, with a massive fanbase, particularly in countries like Brazil, Peru, Chile, Colombia, and Argentina, so it’s no surprise to see PUBG Corp investing in strengthening its presence. Barbosa, being already well-connected in the region, seems like the right man for the job.
