The WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) has named Stats Perform as its Official Data Supplier. 

Described as a “landmark deal”, the partnership will deliver multiple feeds to customers, including an exclusive umpire-derived data feed for an expanded number of WTA matches, along with an ultrafast data feed collected by Stats Perform’s Opta analysts. 

Harnessing the company’s advanced AI capabilities, and enhancing its existing live WTA video streaming, the new collaboration is aimed at delivering a better experience for fans, raising the profile of WTA players,  and making data more accessible for authorised sportsbooks, sponsors, broadcasters, and other media. 

Discussing the partnership CEO at Stats Perform, Carl Mergele, said:

“The WTA has very ambitious goals for their tournaments and players and we’re proud to be trusted to help them reach new levels of fan and bettor engagement.  Our broadcaster, media, and betting networks are already excited because they’ve seen how high-quality information elevates sport’s appeal.”

Staying with Stats Perform, last week the company announced a partnership with streaming and synchronisation solutions provider NativeWaves, to enhance the viewing experience for sports fans.
