PREMIER LEAGUE LEADERS MANCHESTER CITY TO LAUNCH FAN TOKEN ON SOCIOS.COM

Manchester City, current leaders of the English Premier League, are teaming up with Socios.com to launch the Manchester City $CITY Fan Token. 

Fans will soon be able to use $CITY Fan Tokens to access VIP rewards, Club promotions, games, AR-enabled features, and voting rights in certain binding and non-binding Club polls via engagement platform Socios.com.

According to CoinMarketCap, which has a dedicated page for Fan Tokens minted on the Chiliz blockchain, the total Fan Token market cap recently surpassed $400M. Chiliz $CHZ, the digital currency designed specifically for sports and entertainment, and the native currency of Socios.com, now has a market cap of $3.3B. 

The Manchester City Fan Token is available to purchase via the Socios.com app, and registered Cityzens will also be receiving an offer to claim a free token, via a voucher code, in the near future.

Last month Fortuna Sittard became the first Dutch club to launch a Fan Token on Socios.com, and Legia Warsaw was announced as the first Polish club to partner with the platform.
