AUSTRALIAN REGULATOR TO BLOCK 10 MORE UNLICENSED GAMBLING SITES

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) will be requesting Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to block ten more unlicensed offshore gambling websites. 

The sites to be blocked are: Play Croco, Aussie Play, Golden Reels, All Spins Win, Bonza Spins, Pokie Spins, Golden Pokies, House of Pokies, Pokie Mate, and PokieZ.

Following numerous complaints about the sites, ACMA investigated and found them to be offering services to Australian customers in breach of the Interactive Gambling Act of 2001.  

In February, ACMA took action to block 18 unlicensed sites, and since it first started asking ISPs to block sites in November 2019, some 238 illegal gambling sites have been affected.
