“BADDEST MAN ON THE PLANET” TYSON IS LATEST PARIMATCH AMBASSADOR
Undisputed heavyweight champion and “baddest man on the planet” Mike Tyson has become an ambassador for sports betting operator Parimatch.
At a press conference, Tyson explained why he saw the partnership as a perfect match, saying:
“This is all about dedicating your life. This is about Parimatch dedicating itself to be the best in the world, and that is why I put my name on the product as I am also dedicated to being the best in the world.”
53-year-old Tyson said he still trains for an hour-and-a-half twice every day, and had already been to the gym twice before the press conference, despite only arriving the evening before.
Inspired by the Greatest
Tyson explained how meeting the late Muhammad Ali while he was “locked up” in a reformed school at age 11 in 1977 helped motivate him in life:
“We watched the movie about The Greatest and then when the film stopped, Muhammad Ali came in – and everybody went crazy,
“We were just a bunch of juvenile, poor, bad, destitute kids. And we were all crazy. And that day I told myself I wanna to be like him. I didn’t know what I was talking about, I ain’t ever seen him fight. I knew nothing about him. I just wanted to be like him. I wanted that respect how people responded when he came to the room and I wanted that.”
Tyson certainly achieved his goal, being inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2011 and the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, and now joining Parimatch’s prestigious ambassador team alongside UFC icon Conor McGregor.

Still up for a fight
Tyson said McGregor is a “promotional genius” but claimed he could still K.O. in the ring, going on to say:
“I’d beat him… They still want me to fight him. People are paying [lots of] money to see him fight. That is marketing, millions and billions; he’s a genius.”
He also noted that McGregor’s personality and passion represented the future of UFC, pointing out that combat sports are best when focused around individuals, explaining:
“MMA has to have many changes to stay prosperous in the upcoming years. They have to have individual athletes… In boxing you can’t take that many boxers in a room without a problem.”

The past and the future
Reflecting on his career, Tyson said his most important fight was with Larry Holmes in 1988, because Holmes had beaten Muhammad Ali, saying:
“My most important fight was with Larry Holmes in 1988 because he has beaten Muhammad Ali. When I was a kid and I went to that fight I cried for a few years,
“I promised Muhammad Ali that when I get older, I’m gonna avenge him. I trained real hard and prepared for fighting. Everything I did in my life since I woke up in the morning and until I went to bed in the evening was the process of getting ready for the fight. I wake up and do my exercises, I go downstairs, I run, come back, and do more exercises.
“I walk to school, go to the gym, get showered, return to the class. At lunch time I go to the gym. Then when school is over, I walk to the gym. When I do my sit ups, I’m watching the TV, watching fight films, working out while watching. Everything is in preparation for my fight.”
When it came to the crunch, Tyson knocked out Holmes in the fourth round.
Looking forward to his time representing Parimatch, Tyson said:
“This whole experience is gonna be out of this world and I’m just looking forward to it,
“I’m so grateful for being a part of it. This is what I am anticipated to be; the best. That’s why I’m here, and I’m looking forward to a great experience of being involved with the best.”
AYO.NEWS says:
We’d love to know how much Parimatch have forked out for this one! Love him or hate him, Tyson is a true A-lister of the sports world and will be a content creator’s dream to work with, so we’re expecting some pretty cool stuff to come from Parimatch with this partnership – heck, look at what he shared just in the space of a press conference!

Tron (TRX) founder Justin Sun has pledged to donate $1 million towards Greta Thunberg’s anti-carbon crusade, in a move that has sparked derision in the crypto community.
Sun jumps on Greta’s misguided anti-carbon bandwagon
Sun’s pledge was in response to last week’s COP25 UN climate conference in Madrid, which ended in failure to agree on concrete action. On 18th December, Sun tweeted:
“As a young entrepreneur, I share @GretaThunberg’s passion to change the world. Crypto will contribute immensely on reducing carbon footprint by implementing decentralized settlement. I would like to personally commit USD$1 Mil to @GretaThunberg ’s initiative. #cop25”

Switched-on crypto community aware climate is driven at solar and galactic level
However, reflecting the fact that the switched-on crypto community is increasingly aware of the misguided, extremely dangerous and out-dated attitudes of climate extremists like Thunberg and other ignorant fanatics, there is a growing backlash against Thunberg and her followers like Sun.
More specifically, each day more people become aware that increasing numbers of scientists around the world are speaking out and exposing the fraudulent claim that there is a ‘consensus’ that carbon is causing climate change (there is, of course, a consensus among people who are inputting the same inaccurate, incomplete data, into the same fundamentally flawed computer models).
Away from the ill-informed mainstream media hysteria and pathetic political game playing, more and more researchers are realising Earth’s climate is primarily driven by long-term solar cycles, which are themselves driven by even longer-term galactic cycles, and that CO2 is not driving climate change in any meaningful way.
Illustrating this is the fact that the IPCC’s own official data sets have now been expanded to include far more comprehensive solar forcing factors – data that has completely upended the traditional models that the CO2 brigade, championed by the ridiculous Thunberg, have based their entire position on.
It is important not to confuse issues here. Polluting our air and poisoning our oceans and land is suicidal, and needs to stop. Similarly, Trump-style outright hostility to anything to do with environmental stewardship is extremely dangerous and counter-productive.
Thunberg, Sun et al are useful puppets, distracting from the real impending crisis
But, politicians are clearly happy to let Thunberg, the mainstream media, and misguided cheerleaders like Justin Sun, carry on fueling the carbon hysteria as a way to distract from what is a very real climate crisis – one driven by forces that are far beyond human control. That crisis is part of a natural, galactic-level cycle that operates like clockwork.
There’s a reason for all the deep underground bunker construction around the world, for Jeff Bezos hollowing out a mountain just a few miles from his Blue Origin space launch facility in Texas, for the global seed vaults and knowledge repositories (including Israel’s recent failed attempt to land a repository on the moon), for the submerged cities being found all over the world, for the hidden ruins of metropolises being discovered under rainforests using the latest LIDAR technology, and for the vast ancient underground cities in Turkey.
We now have an inkling of why out-of-place artifacts, that seem far too advanced for their age, are being dug up by archaeologists around the world, for why advanced machining marks are found on megalithic stone structures on the Giza plateau, Pumapunku and countless other megalithic sites, and for why cave art ‘stick men’ are now being reinterpreted as highly accurate diagrams of massive plasma discharges in the atmosphere.
Thousands of people are now pondering the mysterious changes at the so-called Younger Dryas boundary, asking why over half the mega fauna (large animals, including humans) suddenly died out in the blink of an eye around 12,500 years ago in both North and South America, but more species survived on the other side of the planet in Africa. Many are still wondering why the thousands of flash-frozen mammoths have never been explained, or why there are thousands of mammoths, mastodons, giant ground sloths, woolly rhinos and other large creatures collected in gigantic bone deposits, seemingly in water drainage catchment locations, all with smashed bones and signs of trauma, all over the world.

People are pondering why ancient maps show the ice-free coastlines of Antarctica, and why cultures and religions all around the world share the same tales of global catastrophe. Still others have looked at Google Earth and wondered why all the major rivers in the world seem to continue as deep channels for hundreds of miles out to sea – despite the fact that fresh water is less dense than salt water, and couldn’t possibly have carved them… indicating those channels were carved when it was land – on all sides of continents. Some have noted ‘impact’ proxies in a ‘black mat’ layer, across the planet, dated to around 12,500 years ago.
And, is it coincidence that, if we go by Plato’s dates, the destruction of the ‘mythical’ Atlantis was roughly 12,500 years ago, or that the ancient Egyptians (from whom Plato’s relative got the story of Atlantis, funnily enough) categorically insisted they were merely the descendants of a much more sophisticated and advanced civilisation that had existed in a prior ‘Golden Age’, or that the much-hyped Mayan calendar ended a great cycle in 2012?
Still others are asking why the CIA classified certain literature dealing with magnetic pole shifts back in the 1960’s, why the authorities seemed determined to shut down certain theories that were being floated and supported by some of the greatest minds of the 20th century, and why vast resources were spent to go to the moon in a series of missions, named ‘Apollo’ after a sun god, to collect tiny glass spheres that littered the moon’s surface… spheres that similarly litter the Earth’s surface.
While, right now, those agencies observing the Earth’s magnetic poles and fields are recording movement and weakening that is unprecedented in recorded history. We could go on, and on, but if you’re paying attention you’ve probably got the gist. And, Greta and Justin, it’s got absolutely nothing to do with carbon dioxide.
Of course, the chances of anyone like Greta actually taking the time to delve into this subject, to watch the hundreds of videos, read any of the thousands of books and peer-reviewed scientific papers that strongly suggest our climate is governed by a solar/galactic-driven cycle, are remote. But, if you are curious, we’d recommend starting with the video below, and watching it all before you form an opinion.

John McAfee, our favourite crypto eccentric, has confirmed he’s putting his individual crypto currency promotions on ice to focus on his 2020 presidential bid campaign.
Yep, he’s really doing it. January will see John McAfee kick off his presidential campaign “in earnest”… even though he openly admits he hasn’t got a snowball’s chance in hell of winning. Still, he sees it as a brilliant opportunity to promote the broader cryptocurrency world to the mainstream.
I’m not backing off from Crypto. I’m backing off from promoting specific coins or projects. It’s the Wild West here in Crypto. Even I cannot properly vet anything in this nuclear explosion of technology, promise and exploitation to the degree that I am comfortable promoting it.
— John McAfee (@officialmcafee) December 14, 2019
McAfee, who is currently living in exile on a boat… somewhere, is wanted in the United States on tax charges – which he says are fraudulent – so campaigning will have to be done entirely remotely.
Mind you, not even living on a boat has kept him out of trouble. Back in July, AYO.NEWS reported that he had been arrested and held for four days in the Dominican Republic – though he was later released without charge and, in typical McAffee-style, even posted selfies taken with his captors on twitter (read more).
In October, McAfee launched his own decentralised exchange, saying it was aimed at freeing people from “governments’ cornerstone of control: fiat currencies”, and adding that there was no way to shut it down (read more).
And, let’s not forget, McAfee is still standing by his, now seemingly far-fetched, prediction that Bitcoin (BTC) will hit $1 million by the end of next year or he will eat his own penis.
When I predicted Bitcoin at $500,000 by the end of 2020, it used a model that predicted $5,000 at the end of 2017. BTC has accelerated much faster than my model assumptions. I now predict Bircoin at $1 million by the end of 2020. I will still eat my dick if wrong. pic.twitter.com/WVx3E71nyD

AYO.NEWS says:
We can’t help but love John McAfee. In a world of Trumps and Johnsons, McAfee’s brand of sticking it to the authorities and slightly unhinged freedom fighting is exactly what is needed! So, for the sake of world peace we’re hoping against hope to see a President McAfee unseat Trump, and for the sake of his manhood we’re hoping to see $1m Bitcoin by the end of 2020!
Good luck John, on both counts!

Akon City, a “100% crypto-based city”, is now being built by Grammy award-winning American singer, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist and actor, Akon.
Yep, as we previously reported, Akon has set up his very own cryptocurrency, the AKoin, and is now in the process of building a futuristic city on 2,000 acres of land near Dakar, gifted to him by the president of Senegal.
Speaking on Nick Cannon’s radio show Power 106 Los Angeles, Akon said the city will be “renewable”, with a particular emphasis on solar power, and that the AKoin would be the “centre of transactional life.”
According to the singer, the city is scheduled to take ten years to build, with construction starting in March this year, and state 2 starting in 2025.
Akon also runs a charity called Akon Lightning Africa, which claims to have already provided solar solutions in eighteen African countries. During his chat with Cannon, the star criticised other wealthy people for sitting on large sums of money in the bank, which was wasted and could be used to help those in need.
Despite his enthusiasm for his city project, Akon said he was most excited about his cryptocurrency, the AKoin, and is confident it will take off internationally.
Somewhat echoing Twitter and Square CEO Jack Dorsey’s assertion that Bitcoin’s (BTC) future will be “defined” by Africa (red more), Akon has previously said that blockchain and crypto could the “saviour” of Africa.
AYO.NEWS says:
In November Akon made a high profile appearance at the Malta AI & Blockchain Summit, where his enthusiasm was contagious. However, while there’s no doubting his passion for both AKoin and Akon City, establishing a viable long-term city is about more than just funding and construction, and will require massive, sustainable support from the Senegalese government. In a part of the world that is notoriously unstable, can this project rely on that?
Whatever happens, Akon has to be commended for what he’s doing, and we’ll be following the project with great interest.

Eran Eyal, founder and former CEO of Shopin, has been convicted of orchestrating a fraudulent ICO after pleading guilty to charges in New York.
Yesterday we reported that the United States Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) had charged Eran Eyal, founder and former CEO of Shopin, with running a fraudulent $42m initial coin offering (read more). Today he stands convicted.
Eyal also pleaded guilty to, and was convicted of, two counts of Scheme to Defraud in the First Degree, a Class E felony, related to his two previous companies; Springleap, Inc, and Pass Sync, Inc.
New York Attorney General (NYAG) Letitia James announced the conviction after Eyal pleaded guilty to the felony charges. Regarding the case, James said:
“My office won’t allow white collar criminals to get away with their schemes to defraud innocent victims, no matter how complex.
“This one individual created company after company after company just to continue cheating investors out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Using fake product trials and nonexistent contracts with major retailers he was able to lure victims to invest in his technology schemes, including his very own cryptocurrency. We will use every available resource at our disposal to pursue all who attempt to abuse and manipulate the system, because no one is above the law.”
Despite the serious nature of his offences, and the determined words of the New York Attorney General, it looks like Eyal has escaped jail time. Instead, he has been ordered to pay $125,000 in restitution and $475,000 in judgments to investors. He must also surrender the $450,000 worth of crypto remaining to the NYAG’s office.
Unsurprisingly, Eyal has also been forced to step-down as CEO of Shopin and is prohibited from raising capital or serving as a business officer in the state of New York for three years.
AYO.NEWS says:
Well, that was quick! Given the scale of Eyal’s crimes, and his track record, it is perhaps surprising that he’s not looking at a serious jail sentence. Despite his three-year ban in New York, something tells us we’ll be seeing Eyal back in business, somewhere, sometime real soon…

ReKTGlobal, parent company of esports organisations Rogue and London Royal Ravens, has announced Taylor Fritz as its latest celebrity investor.
The 22-year old American tennis prodigy is the third pro-traditional sports athlete to join the ReKTGlobal team in the past six months, joining Washington Redskins Landon Collins (read more) and the NBA’s two-time reigning Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert (read more), along with EDM sensations Steve Aoki and DJ Nicky Romero (read more), the Billboard Award-winning Imagine Dragons, and renowned Latin music producer Tainy (read more).
Notably, while NBA, NFL and MLB stars have been investing millions in esports over the past year, Fritz is one of the first tennis pros to invest in competitive gaming – an industry expected to generate $2.4 billion next year.
Discussing his investment in ReKTGlobal, Fritz said:
“As the first tennis pro and youngest investor to date, I’m really excited to join the ReKTGlobal team. “It’s a dream come true to invest in this fast-growing esports organization and follow my passion for competitive gaming. As the esports industry continues to blow up and go mainstream, I’m looking forward to collaborating with the team and making magic happen. Livestreaming with the Rogue squad and DrLupo will be a fun bonus too.”
While Founder and Chairman of ReKTGlobal, Amish Shah, added:
“Taylor Fritz is a rising star, both in tennis and esports. In addition to his role as our latest investor, Taylor is an avid gamer who takes his PlayStation on the road so that when he has downtime or is in need of a release, he can jump on the sticks and play Fortnite and Call of Duty. He truly knows his stuff when it comes to the esports industry, teams, and players so we’re very excited to welcome him to the ReKTGlobal family.”
Fritz played his first Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour tournament at Nottingham in 2015, where he received a wild card and won his first ATP match. He turned pro after winning the US Open and by age 17 had risen into the top 250 of the ATP rankings and become the 9th player to win multiple Challenger Tour titles.
With a serve that can hit 149mph and an ability to hit powerful groundstrokes, Fritz won his first ATP Tour title at the 2019 Eastbourne International tournament, rising to a #25 world ranking, and made his Davis Cup debut representing Team USA.
AYO.NEWS says:
How does ReKTGlobal keep attracting so many high-profile celebrity investors!? Whatever they are doing, its making the company one of the most interesting in the esports world! Besides being able throw fantastic parties, having so many high-profile, well connected celebrities and sports people on the team must be opening up many exciting avenues for collaborations, and further merging the world of traditional sports and entertainment with esports and gaming.
We wonder who’ll be next to invest in ReKTGlobal?
