German esports organisation SK Gaming has announced Chinese tech brand OnePlus as its official smartphone partner.
The partnership has seen the organisation equip their SK Gaming Clash Royale team with OnePlus smartphones.
Commenting on the deal CEO at SK Gaming, Alexander Müller, said:
“We have been following the OnePlus brand since its launch in 2013 and are pleased to welcome them on board. Their smartphones are first class and they’ve built an incredible community around the world that we want to contribute to over the next year.”
While Country Manager Germany at OnePlus, Martin Kang, added:
“A powerful team and a powerful smartphone – these two fit together perfectly. Therefore, we are pleased to be an official smartphone partner of SK Gaming and to be able to support the players in their success in every way, “
SK Gaming says its Clash Royale team has been training on their new OnePlus devices ahead of Saturday’s CRL Finals in Los Angeles.
Staying with SK Gaming and telecommunications, the organisation also has a partnership in place with Deutsche Telekom. Other partners include automotive giant Mercedes-Benz (read more) and ARAG insurance (read more).
