MALTA-BASED ZBX EXCHANGE TO LIST INNOVATIVE ABEY TOKEN
The ABEY Foundation has announced a partnership with Malta-based crypto exchange ZBX.
According to the Foundation, ZBX is set to become one of the major exchanges for the ABEY token to be traded on, with the partnership underscoring its ambition for ABEY to “play a powerful role in the technological processing of crypto-payments” and become the “protocol of choice for e-commerce.”
By listing the ABEY token on ZBX, which is regulated in Malta and has built an excellent reputation and considerable market penetration, especially in Asia, users are guaranteed maximum security and peace of mind.
Philipp Sauerborn, CEO of aPAY Systems, a licensee of the ABEY Foundation’s blockchain technology, explained why ABEY is excellent for e-commerce, saying:
“As a payment services provider, we benefit particularly from ABEY’s underlying core technology here at aPay Systems. Not only do we have a high performance, scalable approach to achieving e-commerce, but through cross-chain interoperability we can offer our users the flexibility of actively using crypto currencies, that so many people are looking for today”.
ABEY – The Advanced Blockchain for Enhanced Yields
ABEY is the native digital asset in the blockchain maintained by the Liechtenstein-based non-profit ABEY Foundation and its trustees. The Foundation consists of a strong Research & Development team, backed by developers, researchers and scientists from academic backgrounds, and is committed to continuously improve and build upon its technology.
With a powerful ethos to achieve progress through natural evolution of blockchain technology, the Foundation is working on delivering fast transactions, programmable smart contracts, and high performance heterogeneous designs that provide high speed, reliable native blockchain processing.
Coupled with on-chain payment processing and refundable transactions, affiliate referral support, and a multi-layered approach to the underlying technology, ABEY is working to deliver the blockchain infrastructure e-commerce has been looking for.
The ABEY project will soon be made fully open source and available on GitHub.

A boost for Blockchain Island
The ABEY Foundation’s decision to list on Malta-based ZBX is a major vote of confidence in ‘Blockchain Island’, where, after a long wait, issuers are finally getting their VFA licenses, allowing regulated platforms like ZBX to list them.
As CEO of ZBX, Dave Pulis, noted, despite Malta gaining a lot of negative press over recent months, its financial regime is now one of the strictest and most risk averse in the world, though it will probably take some time for the clouds to clear.
Of course, as we’ve covered many times here at AYO.NEWS, Maltese banks have actually become so risk-averse that it has been causing major headaches for legitimate businesses in the country, and despite the government promising to provide homegrown banking options, many, including ZBX, have had to look abroad for banking services.
Indeed, as ZBX CEO, Dave Pulis, explained:
“We could not stay on the sidelines waiting for local banks to step up to the Crypto community so we have solved the banking issue with foreign banking. To this effect we have secured Tier 1 corporate and retail banking from Switzerland, Europe and soon the United States. We are also working with private and investment banks for our bespoke solutions for the industry that will be announced in the coming months.”
The ABEY token will be available for trading at ZBX in early spring 2020, and will be exchangeable for both crypto and fiat (BTC, ETH and euro).
AYO.NEWS says:
This is great news for ZBX, ABEY and Malta! Here we have a blockchain and token that offer genuine solutions for real-word e-commerce use, working in conjunction with a well-regulated, highly professional cryptocurrency exchange.
We’re confident that, as the bad actors in the cryptosphere are slowly but surely falling by the wayside, and the underlying blockchain technology is developed to meet real use-cases, progressive jurisdictions like Malta can, if they play their cards right, become sustainable centres of blockchain excellence.
ZBX is also partnered with Crypto Price Index, an emerging Decentralised Finance (DeFi) project aiming to allow users to participate in crypto markets in a stable and less volatile manner. Along with ZBX exchange, project partners include the Emirati Royal Family and ICO Malta.
