Ghost Gaming may be the latest victim of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis, with the organisation reportedly close to shutting down.

Over the past few days many at Ghost, including Fortnite player Aydan and Head of Scouting Skoal, have taken to social media to announce their departure from the organisation.

According to industry press reports, it seems the organisation has hit financial trouble due to the unprecedented economic collapse triggered by the worsening COVID-19 crisis.

Formed in 2017, Ghost Gaming has competed in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), Call of Duty, Fortnite, Gears of War, Rocket League, and Smite.

It has been confirmed that Ghost’s Rocket League and Smite Pro League teams have both left the organisation, with its Smite team now playing for Radiance.
