Forevr, a new esports management company founded and led by music industry veteran Marc Ogihara, has launched.
The new agency already has high profile players, including OG captain and co-founder Johan “N0tail” Sundstein, teammate Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, and Natus Vincere Counter-Strike: Global Offensive star Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev on its books.
Showing its international reach, Forevr has also signed Singaporean streamer and Mobile Legends: Bang player Zxuan “ZX” and pro-streamer and Genflix Aerowolf brand ambassador Sherlin “SherlinTsu” Susanto a.k.a BabyShark.
Billing itself as a “new concept in the esports ecosystem”, the agency says it aims to provide a “full 360° management” service for esports, including player management, press/marketing/social media management, partnership activation, legal and business management.
Forevr CEO and founder, Marc Ogihara, has been in music management for nearly a decade, representing artists including Denmark’s Martin Jensen, and was inspired to enter esports after meeting Frederik Byskov, founder of four-time CS:GO Major winning team Astralis.
Byskov has now joined Forevr as an advisor and investor.
AYO.NEWS says:
This is yet another sign of the rapid professionalisation of esports, with players and content creators now getting access to the same level and breadth of services and representation enjoyed by those in the traditional sports and entertainment industries. We love what Forevr has done so far – those colours are great (they remind us of something else) – and it will be interesting to see where it goes.
