Online gambling operator Kindred Group has announced the appointment of Johan Wilsby as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Wilsby has been performing the same role at Tobii, and is set to take up his new position with Kindred in the autumn. He has also been CFO at Fingerprint Cards and Transmode, and held various finance leadership roles at Microsoft and Hewlett Packard.

Welcoming Wilsby to the team, Kindred CEO Henrik Tjärnström said:

“I am delighted and pleased to welcome Johan to the Kindred team. In addition to Johan’s capability in finance, his extensive experience from the digital industry will ensure he can engage in our operations from the start and be an important part of the management of the company.”

While Wilsby himself added:

“I really look forward to joining Kindred’s management team and to lead the finance organisation, and thereby contributing to the company’s future success in a dynamic market.”

Staying with Kindred, earlier this month we reported the company confirmed it is laying off 75 staff, spread across its various locations.
