Major sports TV network ESPN has announced it will broadcast NBA 2K League games throughout the 2020 season.
Starting this week Tuesday night games will be broadcast on ESPN2, through to 19 May, with details of further broadcasts still to be released. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday matches will be streamed live via the ESPN app and ESPN.com.
The Tuesday night ESPN2 broadcasts represent the first-ever NBA 2K League telecasts in the United States. ESPN will also be broadcasting coverage on either ESPN2 or one of its digital platforms in the Caribbean, Latin America, Oceania, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
In addition to ESPN, NBA 2K League watches will continue to be broadcast on Twitch and YouTube.
NBA 2K League’s third season commenced yesterday using an entirely online format due to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis. As we reported last week, organisers have made several changes to improve the viewer experience during the six weeks of remote gameplay.
