French organisation Warthox Esport has extended its partnership with Avast-owned virtual private network (VPN) provider HideMyAss. 

The partnership will see Warthox Esport players continue to use HideMyAss’ VPN service while playing, and the company’s logo will also feature on players’ jerseys and the organisations social media profile. 

The partners will also collaborate on future activations aimed at promoting HideMyAss in the French esports scene. 

Discussing the partnership President and Founder of Warthox Esport, Lucas Poher, said:

“As a longtime partner, HMA and Warthox are now becoming a story that lasts! It is an honor and a privilege for Warthox to be associated with such a recognized cross-platform internet security company. We will constantly reinvent ourselves in order to offer them the best promotion and thus confirm their presence as a future major player within the esports industry.”

While Head of Partnerships at Warthox Esport, Alexandre Alloncle, added:

“We are fortunate to work with HMA, a familiar brand for us that proved to be always keen to learn more about our environment. We are aware of the challenges we are facing every year; therefore, making our partners satisfied and happy is one of our priorities.

“Working with professionals within the internet security industry will allow not only our players but also the entire staff to evolve in peace and thus improve our performance both on and off the virtual field.”

In February HideMyAss also entered a similar deal with Fnatic, supporting Fnatic Rising,  its League of Legends roster. 

Warthox was founded in 2017 and has competed in six games including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and League of Legends.
