Gambling technology company Playtech has announced Fortuna has completed migration of its sportsbook in Poland onto Playtech’s IMS platform.

Fortuna, the largest betting and gaming operator in Central and Eastern Europe, also recently launched its omni-channel platforms with Playtech in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, and is planning integrations in Romania and Croatia. 

The integration makes IMS the core gaming platform, with FEG Sportsbook integrated to it. According to Playtech, the integration gives Fortuna the ability to manage its players from a single platform, delivering a single 360 degree view of players across all migrated countries, and enables the use of Playtech’s player engagement centre and responsible gambling tools. 

Playtech and Fortuna have been working together since August 2016, and notably launched the Czech Republic’s first online casino. 

Commenting on the news CEO at Fortuna Entertainment Group, Per Widerstrom, said:

“Our strategic partnership with Playtech continues to be integral to our growth plans, as well as our successes so far. This migration will offer Polish customers a leading user experience, and more broadly it confirms our omni-channel leadership in Central and Eastern Europe.”

While Playtech Chief Operating Officer, Shimon Akad, added:

As well as highlighting the power of Playtech ONE as a solution for licences, this is also a prime example of how Playtech can be the technology provider of choice for companies as they expand and build their offerings in new markets.”
