SENIOR APPOINTMENTS AT ROAR DIGITAL WITH GLYNN CARROLL TO HEAD SPORTSBOOK OPERATIONS

Glynn Carroll has been promoted to Vice President of Sportsbook Operations at Roar Digital.

According to the company, which is a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings, Carroll will be relocating to the United States when the COVID-19 crisis allows.

Originally joining Ladbrokes as Director of Trading Operations in 2015, Carroll has most recently held the post of Director of Trading Performance at the GVC Group.

In the US, he will be responsible for delivering a market-leading sportsbook product tailored for the American markets, and building an enhanced trading operation, built on continuous improvement guided by customer feedback.

Roar Digital has also promoted Product Director Liron Warhaftig to Vice President of Product, and appointed Matthew Sunderland as Vice President of Gaming.

Warhaftig will continue to control Roar’s customer experience across several verticals, while Sunderland, who has acted as a consultant to the company for the past two years, will now take a position on the executive leadership team.

Staying with Roar Digital, last week MGM and GVC announced a second round of investment in BetMGM, the platform operated by Roar Digital, bringing the total now committed to $450 million USD.

Today, Friday 17 July 2020, also marks the last day with GVC Holdings for Kenny Alexander, after thirteen years in the role of CEO.
