Yesterday FanDuel launched its Sportsbook app and online experience in the US state of Tennessee. 

Tennessee is the eighth state where FanDuel now offers mobile sports betting, joining New Jersey, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Colorado, Illinois, and Iowa. The operator also runs retail sportsbook locations in eight states, including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey, New York, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. 

To mark the Tennessee launch, pro and college football legend Eddie George placed a bet with the FanDuel Sportsbook. 

Regarding the launch CMO of FanDuel Group, Mike Raffensperger, said:

“We know how passionate sports fans in the state of Tennessee are, and we are no different, but our true passion is all about our customers.

“We are excited to offer a sports betting app experience that brings fans closer to the game with a number of unique sports betting opportunities, promotions, and offers right in the palm of their hands.”

Staying with FanDuel, last week the company announced a partnership with Entercom, covering what has been described as the radio industry’s “largest advertising commitment ever.”
