G2 ESPORTS IMPROVES EFFICIENCY WITH SEASONIC PARTNERSHIP

Berlin-based G2 Esports has teamed up with Taiwan-based power supply manufacturer Seasonic. 

Launching next year, the collaboration, which represents one of Seasonic’s biggest esports partnerships yet, will see G2 Esports’ teams using the brand’s products on their PC’s. 

Commenting on the partnership CEO of G2 Esports, Carlos Rodriguez, said:

“Everyone at G2 puts their heart into their work. Players. Creators. Content. Finance. Every single person. Having an incredible partner like Seasonic to power our hearts and our players, creators and staff is exciting. It’s a fantastic end to the year for us. They are leaders and we can’t wait to show that as we work together in 2021. Welcome!”

While Seasonic posted a statement saying:

“We are honoured that G2 has chosen us to power the systems of their teams and world-class players. For decades, Seasonic has supported gamers by producing top-tier PC power supplies and now joining forces with G2 will propel us both to achieve new heights.”

Though Seasonic is relatively new to the esports scene, the company has been in existence for over four decades, and entered the PC gaming relatively early. 

Notably, in 2005, it became the first manufacturer to achieve an 80 Plus Certification – with its products cutting energy consumption by 15% to 25% without requiring major computer design changes.
