Brazil-based esports organisation INTZ has announced a partnership with esports health and performance company Adamas Esports.

The deal will see Vancouver-based Adamas Esports work with INTZ, including its League of Legends team during the upcoming CBLOL split, in the fields of mental performance, psychology, physiotherapy, optometry, and physical rehabilitation.

Regarding the partnership Head of Innovation at INTZ, João Borges, said:

“We know that we are at a very important moment in this migration to the franchise system in League of Legends. Thinking about it, we understand the relevance to be pioneers in a programme that will further leverage the results of our athletes and lead us to win even more titles.”

While CEO of Adamas Esports, Caleb Cousens, added:

“Our team will be working closely with their athletes and support staff to ensure all the pieces are in place for INTZ to compete at the highest level. We will be providing our holistic approach to esports performance to optimise the lifestyle, psychology, health and gaming of the athletes.”

Adamas Esports has previously worked with Call of Duty League’s Seattle Surge, and Overwatch League’s Vancouver Titans

INTZ’s League of Legends team reached the Worlds 2020 play-in stage after winning the CBLOL Split 2 playoffs, and fields one of Brazil’s top Free Fire teams, along with rosters in Rainbow Six: Siege, PUBG Mobile, and FIFA

AYO.NEWS says:

The bigger that esports gets, with more money resting on competitions and more fans following teams, the greater the pressure on athletes becomes. So, it’s critical that organisations invest in looking after their talent’s well-being, both physically and mentally, and it’s great to see INTZ is doing just that. It will be interesting to see if there’s a noticeable difference in performance.

Jordan-based organisation FATE Esports has entered an agreement with Germany-based Shikenso Analytics.

Discussing the news CEO of Shikenso GmbH, Arwin Fallah, said:

“As one of our missions is to further professionalize the esports and gaming industry, we are excited to see that the need of our solution is not only applied top down but even more so necessary for striving and growing organisations.

“With FATE as our very first partner from the MENA region, we are happy to be applying our solution for their specific needs and helping them manage and analyse their sponsorship assets.”

While Founder Partner of FATE Esports, Mohammed Majali, added:

“Shikenso’s AI technology enables us to gain deep insights into our online live audience and maximise visibility for our sponsors.

“Today with Shikenso, we are able to delve deep into metrics and maximize visibility during live-broadcast matches. We’re looking forward to this partnership.”

Founded in 2017, FATE Esports is now active in team management, player scouting, event organisation, talent management, and live broadcasting, and currently competes in titles including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, PUBG Mobile, and Tekken 7. The organisation has commercial partnerships with HyperX and Orange.

As previously reported, in November the organisation became the first in the region to announce the launch of a Blocksport-based fan engagement app.

AYO.NEWS says:

The Middle East is still underserved in terms of esports, but organisations like FATE are doing their best to change that, and we predict 2021 is going to be a big year for the region.

Staying in the region, last week UK-based Fnatic announced a partnership with Kuwait’s largest electronics retailer, X-cite, covering the distribution of Fnatic Gear products.

G2 ESPORTS IMPROVES EFFICIENCY WITH SEASONIC PARTNERSHIP

Berlin-based G2 Esports has teamed up with Taiwan-based power supply manufacturer Seasonic.

Launching next year, the collaboration, which represents one of Seasonic’s biggest esports partnerships yet, will see G2 Esports’ teams using the brand’s products on their PC’s.

Commenting on the partnership CEO of G2 Esports, Carlos Rodriguez, said:

“Everyone at G2 puts their heart into their work. Players. Creators. Content. Finance. Every single person. Having an incredible partner like Seasonic to power our hearts and our players, creators and staff is exciting. It’s a fantastic end to the year for us. They are leaders and we can’t wait to show that as we work together in 2021. Welcome!”

While Seasonic posted a statement saying:

“We are honoured that G2 has chosen us to power the systems of their teams and world-class players. For decades, Seasonic has supported gamers by producing top-tier PC power supplies and now joining forces with G2 will propel us both to achieve new heights.”

Though Seasonic is relatively new to the esports scene, the company has been in existence for over four decades, and entered the PC gaming relatively early.

Notably, in 2005, it became the first manufacturer to achieve an 80 Plus Certification – with its products cutting energy consumption by 15% to 25% without requiring major computer design changes.

AYO.NEWS says:

For pro esports teams who constantly push their hardware to the limit, having top quality performance equipment is a must, and anything that reduces energy consumption is good for hardware life, the environment, and organisations’ bank balances, so this is another win-win.
