DIGNITAS TEAMS UP WITH GAMER-FOCUSED FINANCIAL PLATFORM ZYTARA

North American esports organisation, Dignitas, has announced a partnership with financial technology company Zytara.

Zytara aims to create a pathway to provide the esports market, including gamers aged under 18, with banking solutions and services. It will be working with bank partners to offer various products and services, including a checking and savings account, a virtual and physical debit card, and access to investment tools.

The partnership with the veteran esports organisation will see Dignitas-branded Zytara debit cards and app skins launched early this year, and will also see both parties collaborate on a range of content to increase awareness of financial solutions for gamers.

Discussing the partnership Founder and CEO of Zytara, Al Burgio, said:

“I am thrilled that we have announced our partnership with Dignitas.  When the concept of Zytara was first born, it was always about bringing to market a banking platform built by gamers, dedicated to gamers.

“Working with one of the most widely recognized esports organizations in the world shows our dedication to this special group of consumers. We are looking forward to the joint activity taking place with Dignitas throughout 2021 and being able to showcase our innovative products for esports fans and enthusiasts.”

President of Partnerships at Dignitas, John Spiher, added:

“Partnering with a brand as dedicated to  the financial education and success of our athletes, creators, and community as we are is an extremely valuable opportunity. We look forward to working alongside Zytara to create innovative fan experiences focused on bringing their digital payment innovations to life.”

Zytara also recently launched its ZUSD digital currency, which is issued by a regulated financial institution and is redeemable on a 1:1 basis for US dollars. The company says the new currency is designed for the future of finance, esports and gaming, along with countless other applications.”

AYO.NEWS says:

We’ve seen plenty of digital banking apps and financial services partnerships with esports organisations over the past few years, but Zytara stands out in the fact it was designed for gamers and the esports world from the outset. Will it gain enough traction to scale, and will ZUSD become a popular cryptocurrency? Time will tell, but having an organisation with the profile of Dignitas onboard certainly won’t hurt.

Staying with Dignitas, yesterday the organisation revealed its latest rebrand, which sees the return of its iconic ‘Digi’ alien logo, with a twist.
