BETGAMES.TV LAUNCHES LIVE DEALER VERSION OF “ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS”

Live dealer betting games supplier, BetGames.TV, has launched a unique version of one of the most popular and familiar games in history, Rock, Paper, Scissors

In this modern take on the ancient game, which dates back to the Chinese Han Dynasty in around 206 BC and is now familiar to almost everyone in the world, players compete against the dealer in one or two zones. Silver is the less risky option, and more rewarding in case of a tie, whereas gold is riskier, but more rewarding if won.

A special pack of 24 cards, made up of eight each of rock, paper, and scissors symbols, is used, with one card dealt into each zone. In each 20 second betting round, the players must select their stake and which of either, or both, zones to bet against. A win, loss, or draw is then decided after the dealer reveals their card.

Both zones have the same margin (default 5%) but the difference is in the payout’s distribution for draw and win. The payout system is configurable per partner and per zone.

Discussing the launch, Founder and CPO at BetGames.TV, Vygerdas Jonikas, said:

“As part of our drive to provide innovative new games, it is also sometimes prudent to consider the classics and Rock Paper Scissors is most certainly that.

“Alongside our stable of popular games, Rock Paper Scissors is sure to fit in well with its quick-fire and simple yet alluring gameplay.

“We’re confident that our recreation of one of the most recognisable and loved games of all time will provide huge scope for our operators to drive traffic to their sites.”

BetGames.TV currently holds licenses in the UK, Malta, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, South Africa, and Colombia. The supplier had more than 70 operator deals in 2020, including with Betway, Amelco, and SBTech

AYO.NEWS says:

Well, games don’t get much simpler, or ‘classic’ than rock, paper, scissors! In a world of ever more complex games, this might be the perfect tonic for many weary players. It will be interesting to see if other suppliers follow suit with their own versions.
