IGC ENTERS OPTIMISTIC MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH HOTELPLANNER

North American esports organisation Immortals Gaming Club (IGC) has announced a partnership with booking service HotelPlanner.

The multi-year deal covers IGC’s Immortals LCS side and MIBR’s CS:GO team, making HotelPlanner the Official Hotel Booking Partner of both teams, and will feature content production, including travel stories from players competing at international esports events.

Regarding the partnership an IGC spokesperson said:

“Our Immortals and MIBR teams are excited to partner with HotelPlanner, a true leader in the global travel industry. 

“As travel resumes, we are confident that HotelPlanner will provide best-in-class service to our teams and passionate esports fans globally as they travel to root for their favourite teams and players. 

“HotelPlanner’s partnership with IGC illustrates its commitment to support the rapidly growing esports ecosystem.”

While President of the Americas for HotelPlanner, Bruce Rosenberg, added:

“HotelPlanner is a big believer in IGC and the esports category to continue building its online brand and hotel booking capabilities.

“HotelPlanner will assist fans attending tournaments worldwide by making great tournament rates available from hotels and other accommodations types. HotelPlanner will bring online and in-person travel together to create the best fan experience.”

IGC has stressed that while the COVID-19 pandemic continues, travel deemed unnecessary or unsafe by the company, league, or health officials, will be prohibited.
