ENTAIN LAUNCHES GLOBAL INITIATIVES TO SUPPORT WOMEN IN TECH
British gambling group Entain has marked International Women’s Day by launching global initiatives to support women in tech.
Girls Who Code, an international non-profit organisation dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology, will receive $250K USD from the Entain Foundation. The funding will be used to support global programs to bring young women into the technology industry, particularly in the UK, US, Canada, and India.
The Entain Foundation will also be providing $50K AUD to the Tech Girls Movement Foundation in Australia. The organisation works to challenge perceptions that limit girls’ participation in STEM (science, technology engineering and mathematics) through community and industry collaborations.
Entain’s support of Girls Who Code and the Tech Girls Movement Foundation follow recent senior female appointments at the group, including that of new CEO, Jette Nygaard-Andersen, and non-executive board directors, Stella David and Vicky Jarman. 40% of Entain’s board, and almost 50% of the group’s total workforce is now female.
Commenting on the news CEO of Entain, Jette Nygaard-Andersen, said: “I’m proud to be leading a global technology company which is making real strides in promoting women’s careers, not just in the West, but also developing markets like India where creating opportunities for young women is especially important.
“One of the biggest impediments to career choices around the world continues to be cultural, based on preconceived notions of what society and young women themselves believe they can do. That is why we are focusing on initiatives to support their education and build stronger pathways into technology-related careers.”
While Dr. Tarika Barrett, incoming CEO of Girls Who Code, added: “Passionate, ambitious and diverse young women are the key to transforming the world and the technical workforce. This International Women’s Day, we’re excited to partner with the Entain Foundation to support young women around the world on their journey into the technical workforce. Our work together will help spur the creation of a fairer and more equitable workforce, helping more women of all backgrounds rise to the top and achieve their goals of working in tech.”

CT Gaming Interactive has entered a partnership with Supergame.be, expanding its reach in the Belgian online gaming market.
The deal gives Supergame.bet access to CT Gaming Interactive’s portfolio of dice slots, including titles like 50 Dice Treasures, Dice Woods, and 40 Mega Dice.
“We are delighted to have our content live with Supergame.be. We would like to welcome them to our growing customer base in Belgium and look forward to our excellent partnership by contributing to their amazing performance with our content offering,” Martin Ivanov, Businеss Development Manager at CT Gaming Interactive, said.
“CT Gaming Interactive is a well-respected supplier and we are happy to add their games portfolio, which we know will provide our players with entertaining gameplay. The great experience is what brings players to us, and it is our top priority to only provide games that meet their needs and expectations. We look forward to a valuable working relationship,” Henk Wolff, Marketing & communication manager at Supergame.be, said.
Staying with CT Interactive, last month the company announced a partnership with Italian gaming service provider Reactive Games Software Solutions Ltd.
B2B gaming supplier Push Gaming has announced a partnership with new casino brand Wheelz.
The deal will see Push Gaming provide its game library to Wheelz, which is the third brand from Rootz, and offers thousands of games, including table, live dealer, and slots. Players will be able to enjoy Push Gaming titles including Land of Zenith, Wheel of Wonders, and the upcoming Dinopolis, among many others.
As previously reported, Hollywood legend David Hasselhoff is brand ambassador for Wheelz, which operates under an MGA license.
Commenting on the latest launch, Christine Parkhill, Head of Account Management at Push Gaming said: “While we can already count Rootz as a valued partner with its other operations, Wheelz is a brand that aligns nicely with our own ambitions.
“Its gamified loyalty scheme and intuitive UI puts players first, which is just how we position ourselves as a company, so Wheelz is exactly the right kind of site for our unique game selection.”
Tony Kjaldstorm, CCO at Rootz said: “Wheelz is another of our state-of-the-art brands that focuses on a slick, seamless operation offering a wide selection of market-leading games, that’s why we had to have Push Gaming titles for our players.
“We’re looking forward to seeing how our players react to yet more engagement from this new game selection. Wheelz with Push Gaming is everything that a modern casino should offer.”

iGaming player reactivation and retention specialist, Enteractive, is set to expand its partnership with Ellmount Group, with new reactivation campaigns for the CasinoRoom brand.
After delivering conversion rates of more than 35%, across both reactivation and NRC campaigns, for Ellmount’s HighRoller brand since November, Enteractive will now commence one-to-one call campaigns for Ellmount’s main brand, CasinoRoom, across seven markets.
Enteractive uses its proprietary tech (Re)Activation Cloud platform, enabling easy and seamless integration of player databases, allowing native-speaking call agents to personalise outreach to lapsed players.
Mery Blomqvist, CMO at Ellmount, commented, “We’re really impressed by the results on HighRoller, so we’re looking forward to increasing NDC revenue across our markets for our main CasinoRoom brand. Enteractive’s extensive experience reaching out to our churned and non-depositing players has proved to be the missing link in engaging with more hard-to-reach players.”
Enteractive has more than twelve years experience in player reactivation, and is in the top four traffic generators globally for the iGaming sector.
Andrew Foster, Enteractive Director of Business Development, commented: “More and more iGaming brands are seeing the benefits of personalised engagement with their players, for which Enteractive is a global leader. With such great numbers from the HighRoller activity, we’re excited to show Ellmount Group what we can do for their CasinoRoom brand too. Our teams are ready and excited to get started on these new markets for Ellmount.”
According to Enteractive, it currently reactives more than 13,000 players every month for a variety of leading operators, using its personalised, responsible approach.
Staying with Enteractive, in January the company announced a partnership with online gambling operator Argyll Entertainment.

Elk Studios has unveiled details of its upcoming slot Cluster Slide, scheduled to be released on 6 April 2021.
The game is set on the planet Jellyton, which is populated with square-shaped monsters. Some monsters come in bright jelly, others are covered with fluffy fur, and when they move they slide forward.
But, in a rather sinister twist, regardless of their textural variety, they are all social creatures “with occasional cannibalistic tendencies.”
Once monsters are separated, they move closer together in order to stay warm. But a gathering of 5 or more monsters always becomes too much, and they become angry or over-excited, and finally blow up!
Cluster Slide is a 7 column and 8-row slot with sliding symbols. Symbols slide from right to left and clusters of 5 or more generate wins. It comes with 5 wild features, multipliers, and a Wild Drops bonus game!
Cluster Slide comes with X-iter™ modes, allowing players to jump right into the action!

SBC DIGITAL AFRICA 2021 SET TO BRING TOGETHER CONTINENT’S BETTING AND GAMING INDUSTRY
The SBC Digital Africa conference and exhibition returns for its second edition on 30 – 31 March 2021, when 1,500 professionals from the continent’s betting and gaming industry will gather to exchange ideas, connect and talk business.
The virtual event represents the year’s best opportunity to learn about the changing landscape for the retail and online sports betting, igaming, land-based casino and lottery industries in multiple markets across Africa, and what the latest developments mean for businesses keen to launch or expand their presence in the region.
SBC Digital Africa’s centrepiece is a four-track conference, which will see senior executives from operators joined by regulators, legal experts, industry media, and marketing specialists to share insights about the numerous opportunities in the region.
The 60 speakers will tackle an agenda that delivers in-depth examinations of the markets in South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, and Côte d’Ivoire, as well as looking at how to best approach some of the technical and marketing challenges that both established operators and new market entrants are likely to encounter. The full speaker line-up will be announced shortly.
Running alongside the conference will be a 20-booth interactive product display area that features the latest sportsbook, casino and payments innovations from leading suppliers. A programme of networking roundtables will provide further chances for delegates to connect and build new business relationships.
Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, said: “The inaugural edition of our African event was a huge success and generated overwhelmingly positive feedback, including a number of attendees telling us that connections they made there resulted in new business.
“We’ve worked hard to further develop the event and SBC Digital Africa 2021 represents an even stronger proposition for delegates, exhibitors and sponsors.
“That means an agenda that will deliver hard-to-find information about a greater number of markets, the strongest speaker line-up seen for a betting and gaming industry conference in Africa, and some highly-effective ways to showcase products and make new contacts.”
Visit the SBC Digital Africa website to learn more about the event and register for free.
