DDB GROUP LAUNCHES HONG KONG BRANCH OF GAMING & ESPORTS AGENCY

DDB FTW (For The Win), the esports and gaming network agency launched by global advertising giant DBB late last year, is opening a Hong Kong office. 

With DBB FTW based in Prague, the new office, which will be part of DDB Group Hong Kong, will focus on providing gaming solutions for local and regional clients. 

To help it establish itself, the new office has formed an exclusive three-way partnership with local organisation Esports Association Hong Kong (ESAHK), and CGA Entertainment Limited (CGA), which organises esports events in both Hong Kong and Taiwan. 

The company says the new DBB FTW Hong Kong office will be run by the group’s chief business officer, Leo Tsui, group accountant, Felix Fong, and group strategy director, Adrian Tso. 

Discussing the partnership, Eddie Chen, President of Esports Association Hong Kong, said: “This strategic partnership will be hugely beneficial to the industry and our large and growing community of gamers in this part of the world. We believe it will bring a level of sophistication to the gaming environment and help solidify this landscape as major hub of connectivity in people’s lives – a place to connect with people as well as brands.”
