G4 SIGNS “GODFATHER OF YOUTUBE COMEDY” KASSEM G AS ON-AIR TALENT
Godfather of YouTube comedy, Kassem G, is the latest on-air talent confirmed for soon-to-officially relaunch gaming network, G4.
Kassem G started his YouTube channel in 2006, garnering millions of followers and views with his comedy videos. In 2009, Gharaibeh co-founded Maker Studios, a global digital media brand, that was acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2014.
“Kassem is a gifted comedian and one of the first YouTube creators to popularize San Diego Comic-Con through his hilarious man-on-the-street coverage of fan culture on the convention floor,” said Grace Lê, G4’s Director of Development. “In addition to being an award-winning host, Kassem is incredibly knowledgeable about geek and pop-culture and we’re so excited to bring his talent and expertise to G4’s programming.”
“As someone who got in on the ground floor of YouTube, I can appreciate what it takes to start something completely new like G4,” said Kassem G. “I’m thrilled to be a part of the creation of G4 and build a brand that has definitely never been a television network before.”
Last week, G4 announced Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez as on-air talent and the return of Ninja Warrior, including three tournaments never-before-seen in America. Previous announcements include a partnership with the WWE for a video game competition series later this year hosted by WWE Superstar Xavier Woods AKA Austin Creed.

The only question is, who else will be joining the G4 crew before the iconic gaming network officially relaunches later this year?
