GAMESQUARE ESPORTS WELCOMES SKATEBOARDING LEGEND TONY HAWK AS SPECIAL ADVISOR

Canada-based GameSquare Esports has announced a partnership with legendary skateboarder, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Tony Hawk. 

The collaboration will see Hawk act as a special strategic advisor to CEO Justin Kenna and the GameSquare group of companies, as they strive to “bridge the gap between global brands and the large gaming and esports communities.” 

Best known for his hugely successful Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ video game franchise, Hawk has also proven his financial acumen and big-picture thinking, becoming a successful businessman and notable philanthropist. 

Hawk’s charitable foundation, The Skateboard Project, has so far awarded over $10M USD for the construction of more than 600 public skatepark projects, spanning all 50 US states.
