LONDON TO HOST FIFAe WORLD CUP 2021™… UNLESS COVID HAS OTHER PLANS

After a hiatus last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the FIFAe World Cup™ is set to return to London from 6-8 August 2021. 

The climax of the EA SPORTS FIFA 21 Global Series will see the 32 best EA SPORTS™ FIFA 21 players battle it out for the FIFAe World Cup 2021™ trophy, and a share of the $500K USD prize pool – the winner getting $250K. 

Four groups of eight players will compete for a place in the single-elimination knockout stage, with the action taking place in a cross-console format; one game played on Xbox and one on PlayStation for every match-up. 

Players will qualify via the EA SPORTS FIFA 21 Global Series Playoffs in their respective regions in the upcoming weeks.

FIFA has stressed it is constantly monitoring the global health situation for any potential impact on the safety of participants and staff.
