CHINA’S JDG GAMING BECOMES “JDG INTEL ESPORTS CLUB”

China-based esports organisation JD Gaming (aka JingDong Gaming) has agreed a naming rights deal with Intel Corporation.

The two-year agreement will see JDG Gaming renamed as JDG Intel Esports Club. Financial details have not been disclosed.

The esports division of Chinese e-commerce giant Jing Dong, JDG Gaming competes in the League of Legends Pro League (LPL)

As previously reported, last month JD Gaming revealed a rebrand, including a new logo and “official cheering gesture,” and plans to rebase in Beijing, at facilities next to Jing Dong’s corporate headquarters.

The organisation has no fewer than 15 commercial partnerships, with brands like SONY, Razer, Samsung, DouYou, and Jingdong itself joining Intel.
